Less is More

As "stars" like Jodie Marsh grace out screens in trashy reality TV like Big Brother, young teens may start to imitate their mannerisms in the hope of 15 minute fame. I am writing this to get the message out. LESS IS MORE. And if you think that you're ugly then i'll just have to track you down and give you a not so subtle wake up call. Everyone is beautiful in their own way so stop pitying yourself.

My underlying reason for writing this is to tell people what to do with make-up. Oh, a dab of blush there, concealer there and there and a few lashings of mascara. No. This is not how to apply make-up. If you're going to wear lots of make-up at least don't make it obvious that you're wearing enough to shovel off with a spade.

Apply sparingly. Spar-ing-ly. Sparingly. Yeah. I said it.

Five quick tips:

1. Make sure you blend foundation.

2. Make sure that your concealer actaully works. Do not fall into the trap of buying rubbish concealers that are meant to work because they say so on the packaging. Test it before you buy! This is why they put them out!

3. Use eye-lash curlers before applying mascara and don't go for the cheap stuff. They never work.

4. Apply blush on the apples of your cheeks only. Do you want to look like a clown?

5.Your lips have a barrier for a reason! Do not go over it!
